Moving to the Majella, at Campo di Giove there is a cableway, 3 skilifts and 6 ski runs, with a skiing school, hotels and guesthouses. Passo San Leonardo is not far from Campo di Giove and has 2 skilifts, 6 ski runs and a hotel.

On the sea side of the Majella, where you can ski while looking over the Adriatic, there is the Passo Lanciano-Majelletta resort, less than an hour by car from Chieti and Pescara, which offers 9 skilifts, 10 ski runs, a good skiing school, 5 hotels and a CM refuge. The skiing station of Ovindoli, "Monte Magnola Impianti" among the most renowned of all central Italy is serviced with up to date equipment: an 8 seat cable car with automatic clasps, 1 two-seat ski-lift, 3 triple-seat ski-lifts with automatic boarding, treadmill for beginner skiers (one of the longest in the world with its length of 200 meters), high altitude skiing area and the snow park "Alien", fully equipped with an uphill mat.

It measures a total of 35 km with ski-runs of all difficulty levels and perfectly packed snow for ski and snowboard lovers thanks to the newly installed artificial snowmaking systems. There are also prepared trails for cross country skiing, three ski schools and beautiful alpine tracks. There are excellent hotel options and numerous residential hotels, private flats and nightclubs.
