The area of this park is 10 ha wide. It is easy to reach from the medieval center of Vicoli Vecchio, it is completely crossed by an old bridle-path that goes downwards the Fiume Nora to finally reach the village of Le Penne. The flora is characterized by Willows, Poplars and Pubescent oak. In the river live the Trout, the Barbel and the Chub. The most interesting birds are: the Tawny Owl, the Barn Owl, the Buzzard and the Kingfisher; while the most common Mammals are: the Beech Marten, the Weasel, the Fox and the Badger. |
