Il paese e’ situato (293 m.) in una posizione elevata rispetto alla sottostante vallata del Tronto. Di remote origini, Ancarano conserva ancora l’aspetto di cittadina fortificata, con le caratteristiche Porta da Monte e Porta da Mare. |
Stands at a height of 293 meters in a higher position than the valley of Tronto which is just below it. It holds very old origins and still has a fortress-like appearance also thanks to it’s characteristic "Mountain Gate" and "Ocean Gate" |
