Abruzzo Europe - Activities, programs e financing

On the 15th May 2014, the Kick-Off Meeting of the "Youth and Brussels based Regions" project took place in Brussels, at the headquarters of the Abruzzo Region. This is a European project promoted and coordinated by the Abruzzo Region, in partnership with the partner regions, that is to say the Dubrovnik-Neretva County (Croatia), the Lubuskie Province (Poland) and the Presov Region (Slovakia). This project was approved by the European Commission and it is co-financed by the "Youth in Action" program. It shall take effect from the 1st May 2014 until the 30th April 2016, and it intends to offer a unique non-formal learning opportunity to young people coming from these four regions. Indeed, during that two-year period, 80 young people aged 18-30 will be sent to Brussels to do some typical activities foreseen under the Youth in Action program that finances the initiative in the respective regional offices in Brussels.
